How It Works
TVs are measured diagonally from corner to corner. All modern TVs use a 16:9 aspect ratio, meaning the screen is 16 units wide for every 9 units tall.
To calculate physical width and height: multiply the diagonal size by the aspect ratio factors, then divide by the diagonal of the 16:9 ratio (√(16² + 9²)).
The visual canvas scales the largest TV to fit the container, then proportionally sizes the others so you can see the real difference at a glance.
